Camping Domaine Le Peyral is a cosy family campsite in the middle of the southern French nature, in the Parc Natural du Haut Langedoc. The campsite is located in a beautiful domain of 12 hectares of nature. A green oasis with very spacious camping spots, and special accommodation options. With us you can escape from hectic everyday life and completely relax with family, friends or just alone.
The camping spots
On the 12 hectares of nature, a space of 3 hectares has been set up as a camping area for 50 camping spots. The spacious pitches vary between 150-250 m² and the natural partitions are created by trees, blackberries, wildflowers, and grass to give each camping spot an intimate setting, with a lot of space and privacy.
Le Peyral is located at an altitude of 700 meters. During the day, the temperature can get high, but as soon as the sun sets it cools down quickly, and the nights are wonderfully cool and fresh. This is fine for an invigorating night's sleep, but a warm sleeping bag is recommended!
Own camping equipment
All pitches are suitable for camping with your spacious tent and trailer tent, and most pitches will fit a caravan. Don’t worry if you don’t have space to bring everything in your car, you can rent extra camping equipment with us including fridges and baby items (bed, bath, chair).

The upper field
The pitches in the upper field are all on different levels and offer beautiful views over the valley. They are more secluded so allow you to feel you are camping alone. Most pitches have enough shade from the vegetation, so you can keep your tent cool during the hottest days.
The lower field
The pitches in the lower field are spacious on flat ground and are located around a children's play area. Children can build sandcastles in the sandpit, or wizz down the slide whilst parents keep an eye on them from the comfort of their chair. That is why these pitches are ideal for families with young children. They are also near to the outdoor pool and the large playing field with trampoline, ping pong table and pétanque field.

Services
The campsite is fully equipped. In addition to the main facilities, such as the swimming pool, the paddling pool, fresh bread service and the sanitary buildings, we also organize three cooked meals a week such as a communal BBQ or pizza from our wood-fired brick oven. For this you can register with us at the campsite. There is also a camping corner; where you can rent or buy things that you may have forgotten at home.
Swimming pool
There is a large swimming pool for everyone to use at the campsite of 12 x 6 meters and 1.5 m deep.
The pool is free for camping guests between 10:00 and 20:00.
Children should be supervised by parents, and children without a swimming certificate must always wear armbands.

Fresh bread service
Between July 1 and September 1, you can order delicious fresh bread daily at the campsite.
You can order this until 11:00 and you can pick it up in our Chouette from 8:30.
The classic flute and baguette are part of the range, but the pain six grains is the winner among the local bread! You can also order freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat or pain complet.

The small sanitary building has a family cabin with shower, sink and toilet. There is also a separate toilet, sink and shower. Outside against the building there is a sink for the dishes. On the side of the building you will find 2 urinals and a pouring basin for chemical toilets.
The large sanitary building has 3 showers, 4 washbasins and 5 toilets with 2 open washbasins and 3 urinals. There is also a shower for wheelchair users and a cabin with a toilet and sink. On the outside facade you will find 4 sinks for dishes and hand wash. There is also a pouring basin for the chemical toilets.

Wifi
In the Chouette and on the terrace at the Buvette, about 25 users can simultaneously use the Wi-Fi. The quality is fine, but limited in distance. You have a good connection within a radius of about 30 m.
We hope of course that you need as little Wi-Fi as possible, because you are on holiday after all ;) Enjoy your friends, family and nature!

Meeting at Le Peyral
La Buvette
La Buvette is the pleasant meeting place of the campsite. On the terrace with an outdoor bar you can drink delicious wine from a local winery, or a cold glass of Belgian or local beer. In addition, the three weekly meals are eaten here, and you will get to meet other camping guests.
This is also the meeting point for all fun activities and parents can easily keep an eye on their young kids playing on the large playing field, while enjoying a drink on the terrace.
Le Chouette
Le Chouette is the other meeting place of the camping, a cosy place to get together. Chouette means 'owl', but also 'fun'. This space is used for all kinds of purposes and is open between 8.30 and 22.30. Here you will find a play corner, all kinds of leaflets about the area and our small library where you can choose a book to read during your holiday.
In the morning you can pick up your ordered croissants and bread from the Chouette.
Play
Children love nothing more than to play together. There is plenty of space at the campsite where kids can enjoy themselves. There is a large playing field with trampoline, ping pong table, pétanque field and giant games.
There is also a playhouse with sandbox on the bottom field for the youngest children. And our newest addition - a mud kitchen where you can cook delicious food for passers-by!
Behind the pool is another 2.5 hectare site for more fun games and activities. Here 2SUR5 organizes weekly archery you can sign up to. Many children also find a "secret" place here where they can build a hut or camp and discover nature.
