House Rules

We wish all our campers a very pleasant stay at our campsite. Respect for each other, nature, and peace are key principles at Le Peyral. To ensure that everyone has a wonderful holiday with us, there are a few house rules that apply. We kindly ask you to respect these rules and discuss them with your children as well.

General

  • All campers and visitors must first check in at our bar or reception. This allows us to register you and provide you with the necessary information.
  • Visitors are welcome from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM. They must park outside the campsite, in the designated parking area. We ask for a fee of €7 per person. Visitors may use the sanitary facilities and the pool. Visitors must always report to the reception upon arrival.
  • The reception is open from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It is closed from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and after 6:00 PM. Please take this into account. Check-in is possible from 2:00 PM for camping pitches and from 3:00 PM for accommodations.
  • On your camping pitch, there is space for one car. An appropriate parking space will be designated in consultation for an additional vehicle.
  • It is not possible to charge electric cars on the campsite. A special charging station is located 3 km away, in La Salvetat-sur-Agout.

Reception

  • The reception is open daily from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM, unless otherwise stated.
  • At the reception, you will find the library and the children's corner. Don't forget to return borrowed books before you leave. The toys in the children's corner are reserved for use in the reception area. We kindly ask you to tidy up everything after playing.
  • You can pick up your daily bread or other delicacies ordered, from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the latest. The order list for the next day can be filled in daily until 11:00 AM.

Bar & Terrace

  • The bar and terrace are located next to the reception building. You can enjoy fresh coffee, a delicious glass of wine, or a cold local beer, ice creams, snacks, or pick up a chilled bottle of wine every day.
  • The bar closes at 10:30 PM, after which we ask you to return quietly and calmly to your camping pitch.
  • Shared meals also take place on the terrace. Be sure to register for the meal of the day before 12:00 PM on the same day.

Silence

  • From 10:30 PM onwards, it must be quiet. Between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM, we request absolute silence from our guests. This is the time when the crickets, birds, and owls can do their work.
  • If you return after 9:00 PM, we ask you to park your car at the entrance of the campsite, in the designated spaces. After 8:00 AM, you can retrieve your car.
  • If you leave before 8:00 AM, we also ask you to park your car outside the campsite. You can also use the transit area at the front. Please ask us for more information.

Open Fire

  • Due to fire risk, open fires, fire pits, and the lighting of charcoal barbecues, Green Eggs, etc., are strictly prohibited on the campsite. This is only allowed on the initiative and under the responsibility of the owners (campfire/fire pit on the terrace).
  • Please be extremely careful with burning objects, such as cigarettes or matches. Do not throw them away carelessly.
  • Hose reels (red) are installed throughout the site, and each pitch can access them. In case of fire, contact the campsite manager immediately. You are responsible for having proper fire extinguishing equipment in your accommodation.

Pets

  • Dogs are not allowed in July and August. In June and September, a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch are allowed on the campsite, provided they are kept on a leash and do not disturb other guests. They are not allowed in the reception building, the sanitary facilities, or the pool.
  • A European passport, a microchip, and a valid vaccination card are mandatory.
  • Walk your dog outside the campsite. If a dog excrement accidentally ends up on the campsite, we ask you to clean it up immediately.
  • It is prohibited to leave your dog alone in a car, tent, or caravan.

Waste

  • We are mindful of the environment and the management of our waste and its sorting. We expect all guests to contribute to this effort. Sorting is essential.
  • In our ‘sorting area’, you will find two large wooden trash bins (yellow lid) to dispose of packaging for recycling. This includes:
ALL packaging: plastic bottles, containers, metal packaging (cans), drink cartons (PMD), paper, cardboard, plastics, and aluminum foils. Also, fruit nets and paper bags. Make sure the packaging is rinsed and/or placed in a well-sealed trash bag to avoid odors.
  • Household waste (dirty packaging, diapers, food scraps, bones, etc.) should be disposed of in a well-sealed trash bag in the household waste containers (green lid).
  • The glass container is located just outside the campsite, about 50 meters from the entrance.
  • Used batteries must be deposited at the reception.
  • The trash bins near the sanitary facilities should only be used for sanitary waste or scraps accumulated during dishwashing.

Sanitary and Hygiene

  • We expect all our guests to contribute to keeping the buildings clean:
-Clean the toilets with the brush if necessary.
    -Use the squeegee after showering.
-Remove food scraps after washing dishes and wipe the sink with the sponge.
  • Young children can only use the sanitary facilities under adult supervision.
  • Children should not play in or around the sanitary building.
  • We regularly check the toilets and replenish toilet paper. If you notice a shortage, we would appreciate it if you let us know.
  • Our showers do not operate with tokens, and we know the water is wonderfully warm, but we need to be economical with water. Therefore, we ask that you limit your shower time to 5 minutes.

Departure Payment

  • Payment for the stay is made at the reception, upon arrival at the campsite (or earlier during reservation). The rates are displayed on the information board at the entrance and on the website.
  • Consumption (bread, meals, etc.) should be paid at the end of your stay. It is best to do this between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM on the day of departure or the day before. Please ask for your bill in advance so that we can prepare it. Please note: the reception is closed from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
  • If you leave earlier than expected, no refund will be given.
  • Upon departure, the pitch, including accommodations, must be left clean, as you found it upon arrival. Stakes, stones, and sticks should not be left on an empty pitch.

Safety

  • In case of emergency, you can knock on our door at any time.
  • At the reception, you will find the contact information for emergency services, the doctor, the pharmacy, etc. A first-aid kit is also available.
  • Due to the fire risk, open fires and charcoal/wood barbecues are absolutely prohibited on the campsite unless we organize them ourselves on the terrace (fire pit).
  • In case of fire, please inform us immediately!
  • Fire extinguishers and fire hoses are spread across the site.
  • You are responsible for the safety of your pitch:
-Use only approved hoses and gas bottles.
-Electrical cables must be in good condition and grounded.
-Never change gas bottles inside the tent.
  • As we place great importance on children being able to play safely on the campsite, a maximum speed of 10 km/h / walking speed is enforced.
  • The camper is responsible for their belongings. We cannot be held liable for theft or damage to campers’ belongings.
  • The playhouse is suitable for children under 6 years old, and the trampoline may be used by a maximum of 2 children at the same time. We are not responsible for accidents of any kind.
  • Please ensure you leave your pitch clean: tidy up sticks, stones, clotheslines, etc., as they pose a danger to our lawnmower.

Pool

  • Our guests may use the pool from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
  • Although one of us will regularly be present around the pool, there is no supervision by us at the pool. Parents are responsible for supervising their children.
  • For children under 10 years old and children without a swimming diploma, access to the fenced pool area is only allowed under the supervision of their parents.
  • It is mandatory for each guest to take a shower at the entrance of the pool before entering the water, for hygiene reasons.
  • We all rely on keeping the pool and its surroundings clean.
